The FP/Nimo Integration is designed to seamlessly integrate with the FocalPoints environment and to take full advantage of the Nimo unique features. The integration streamlines the operations performed by the User during the inspection process: a simple Bar-code scanning initiates measurement, measured parameters are transferred automatically, quantitive/qualitative controls are fast and intuitive and all data is stored in the lens history for full traceability. Additionally, the Powermap Comparison Engine (PCE), now included with the NIMO interface, offers a sophisticated approach to evaluating complex contact lens designs.
INTEGRATED INSPECTION MODULES
FocalPoints provides a set of modules to assist Operators in the Contact Lens inspection process:
Dry lens inspection (soft)
Final lens inspection (rgp)
Hydrated lens inspection (soft)
Wetted lens inspection (rgp)
These modules allow the Operator to perform both the qualitative and quantitative inspection. They can also speed up the process by showing on screen the lens details, the target value for the inspected parameters and their tolerance ranges. If any of the checks fail, the Operator can mark the lens as a reject right away without the need to use other software. Most importantly, there are no limits on the number of inspection stations a Lab can integrate with FocalPoints.

TRACKING THE LENS HISTORY
When using the FP/NIMO Integration and the Full Traceability module is enabled, all measured data, pass/fail quality controls, the lens map, the time-stamp and the Operator's name are stored in the Lens History log.
POWERMAP COMPARISON ENGINE
The Powermap Comparison Engine (PCE) in FocalPoints, now integrated with FP/NIMO's interface at no extra cost, offers a sophisticated approach to evaluating contact lens designs. By comparing theoretical and actual power maps, the PCE ensures precision and quality in lens production, providing manufacturers with reliable metrics to meet stringent quality standards, reduce subjectivity and innovate effectively.
POWERMAP LIVE CHART
The latest release of the Lambda-X NIMO Integration, brings an useful enhancement: the dynamic visualization of the Cross-Section Powermap. This new feature offers a better experience by presenting the desired cross-section directly on the map, accompanied by its corresponding chart.
