Contact lens fitting is entering a new phase, moving beyond physical trial sets toward smart digital solutions. Labs and Eye Care Professionals alike are looking for ways to simplify the process while improving accuracy and efficiency. To support this shift, FocalPoints® is now integrated with SimuLENS cloud platform. This collaboration connects fitting and production in a seamless workflow, helping labs reduce costs, save time, and deliver the right lens to patients more reliably. This progress has been possible thanks to our collaboration with Simulens Fitting team, which is a spin-off of REM Vision Technologies S.L.

The SimuLENS GATEWAY workflow connects extensive digital fitting sets to FocalPoints' advanced lens production within a single, integrated environment. From virtual fitting to final manufacturing, data flows securely and accurately, creating a continuous and efficient process for both ECPs and laboratories.

From Virtual Fit to Better Outcomes
The process begins in the FocalPoints Virtual Set Editor, where labs create digital fitting sets from their FocalPoints data. Parameters and ranges can be defined with precision, removing the costs and logistics tied to physical trials. These sets are then published to the SimuLENS online platform, giving ECPs an advanced tool to find the best fitting lens and send feedback directly back to the Lab.
On the SimuLENS platform, once the ECP identifies the optimal lens, the lens parameters are recorded and sent back to the lab in real time. From there, the GATEWAY Order Import ensures selected parameters flow into the lab system, eliminating duplication and reducing errors. Finally, orders are finalized in FocalPoints and move directly into production, completing the loop from fitting to delivery.
