The PSC 2.0 is the evolution of the FocalPoints production database. The PSC 2.0 was rewritten from the ground up to increase operational efficiency, further ameliorate the Jobs' pick-up speed and improve reliability. The database update is not a complex operation, please enquire Advance Medical about your system.

The PSC 2.0 is not compatible with legacy DOS based lathes and can be installed only in situations where all the Lathes are operating under Windows. While FocalPoints it's still compatible with legacy Lathes operating under DOS, the limitation of the DOS programming language makes it impossibile to port the improvements delivered by the PSC 2.0 to older machines.

We’re excited to introduce the PSC 2.0, a fully reengineered production database offering faster job pick-up, greater efficiency, and improved reliability. While it won’t work with legacy DOS-based lathes, the PSC 2.0 maximizes the capabilities of Windows-operated systems.
