FocalPoints will give you a simulation of what you're designing, giving you full control over the design decisions, leading to better quality with less errors. FocalPoints allows the Lens Designer to dynamically control the lens geometry through the use of formulas or tables. Tables or formulas may use a number of lens parameters, such as diameter, lens power or base-curve radius. Formulas, tables, edge shapes or other lens elements can be saved and reused in other lens designs.

One of the goals of FocalPoints is to speed up the development of a CL design. In the past, the lens designer was required to cut a lot of samples to verify the resulting lens geometry. Working by trial and error resulted in high development costs.
The extensive Simulation Testing tools offered by FocalPoints are aimed at reducing development times by using a set of virtual analysis tools that will speed up research and design cycles, giving you more time to spend on creating real solutions.

CUSTOM FITTING
FocalPoints can read and interpret the data of many popular corneal topographers. The information can be used for custom fitting lenses with an adaptive design. The fit is reviewed with an accurate, interactive simulated fluorescein pattern and a diagram of the tear layer. After fitting a lens to topographic data, the lens can be fine-tuned for a perfect fit by clicking the control points on the tear layer diagram.

GRAPHIC MODULE
The Graphic Module is an advanced drawing and imaging tool, which has been designed to create technical documentation. Being integrated in FocalPoints Designer, all the lens design parameters, geometry and sections can be automatically generated from the design definition thus speeding up the documentation workflow.
SECURE DESIGN LICENSING
Lenses designed in FocalPoints can be licensed to another Lab equipped with FocalPoints. Licensing is secure and simple, CL are encrypted so that:
