In an increasingly digital world, the specter of cyber threats looms larger than ever. Cyber Security Threats

We recognize the paramount importance of cybersecurity, particularly in handling sensitive data within the specialty contact lens manufacturing industry. That's why we've conducted a comprehensive infrastructure review to identify proactive and reactive security measures for enhancing our overall security posture. As a consequence we have implemented a Cyber Security Awareness Program aimed at educating our employees and clients on best practices for safeguarding data. This program covers everything from password management to recognizing phishing attempts, ensuring the security of every data interaction. We invite you to test your awareness and preparedness against cyber threats by taking our Cyber Security Test. This short 12-question assessment evaluates your knowledge of cybersecurity. Cyber Security Test

Cyber threats are constantly evolving, becoming more sophisticated and harder to detect. A 2023 survey of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) identified email fraud, insider threats, cloud account compromise, and DDoS attacks as the leading cybersecurity risks.

Statista: Employee Mistakes Causing Cyber Incidents Worldwide

In 2022, the majority of cyber incidents were attributed to simple mistakes and a lack of awareness among individuals. The top employee errors contributing to these incidents included inadequate password management (80% of respondents), improper use of personal email (78%), excessive sharing on social media (77%), and negligent handling of smartphones and collaboration tools, which also played a significant role. These findings underscore the urgent need for robust cybersecurity training and policies to enhance awareness.

Digital Signature

We know the critical importance of safeguarding our clients. That's why we've implemented digital signatures throughout our FocalPoints executable files. Think of digital signing as the digital equivalent of sealing a letter with a personalized wax seal, ensuring the authenticity and the integrity of our software.

This demonstrates our dedication to ensuring that our clients receive innovative products that are secure and trustworthy. As we move forward, we will continue to innovate and enhance our offerings, always prioritizing client security and satisfaction.

In light of the increasing cybersecurity threats, staying informed and taking proactive measures is crucial to ensure the resilience of any organization's services. As for any threat, ensuring that our operations and our software solutions remain robust and dependable is our top priority.
